Temporary 'Electronic' Permits

Parking permit holders who need to park a vehicle that is not registered on his/her permit for a temporary period while the registered vehicle is unavailable must notify the Clerk's office in advance of parking that vehicle.   A parking permit holder cannot park any vehicle unless it has been registered with the Clerk’s office.   Please contact the Clerk's office with this information via email, clerk@scarsdale.com, or call the office (914-722-1175) during business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Electric Vehicle Parking

As of October 31, 2018, the Village of Scarsdale is pleased to provide an electric vehicle car charger at its Freightway Garage Facility. The use of the charger is limited to Freightway Garage Permit Holders Monday - Friday and it's use is included with a valid permit. The charger is open to the general public on weekends.

The device was provided to the Village through an existing contractual obligation with ProPark America, and the installation was funded in part by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
