Who Are We?
The Advisory Council on Parks and Recreation assists in promoting recreation programs in the Village of Scarsdale. They accomplish this by recommending programs to foster community support for recreation programs; and appraising the use of Village parks for the purpose of developing recommendations.
When Do We Meet?
The Council typically meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:30 PM (however this does vary based on time of year/holidays). Please email the recreation department at recreation@scarsdale.com for the most up-to-date scheduled meetings.
Who Serves on the Council?
Members of the Advisory Council on Parks and Recreation are appointed by the Board of Trustees to serve two-year terms. One nonvoting member is appointed by the Board of Education. The current
