Community Resources

There are many worthwhile organizations and support services in Scarsdale. We are highlighting the following resources, as they are either led by volunteers or are public-private partnerships.

The Scarsdale Volunteer Ambulance Corps is a point of pride for the Village. For some 50 years, this group of volunteers, most of whom are unpaid, has provided and taught best practice lifesaving techniques. They get there faster than the others, are trained to provide treatment before transporting patients in distress, and offer a state-of-the-art training facility.

The Scarsdale Action for Youth (SAY) is a community coalition that works under the auspices of the Scarsdale Edgemont Family Counseling Service. The group convenes all sectors of the community to create positive change and a healthy environment for young people in Scarsdale.
