Come celebrate this Saturday with Winter Animals, a Gingerbread contest and craft, ice lanterns and, of course, a wonderful STORYWALK about Gingerbread Houses along the front trail at Weinberg Nature Center! (SIGN UP HERE!)

Scarsdale Public Library and Weinberg Nature Center team up again, offering everyone another Storywalk on the Nature Center trails: Winter Animals and Gingerbread Houses! This special event will begin on the Storywalk Trail. You will have your choice of hot cocoa or hot cider as you stroll, read and see the colorful pages, The Gingerbread Girl, by Lisa Ernst and, The Gingerbread Boy, by Paul Galdone. These stories will be read aloud in the Story Telling Circle by the wonderful storyteller, Karen Zielinksi (Head of Children's services, Scarsdale Public Library). There will be animal presentations by Weinberg Naturalists, Sam Weinstock and Maura Mandrano. The Event will run a gingerbread contest and craft, capped off with an ice lantern activity.
