this January...WNC: Nature Learning Pod (Winter 2021) is for 3 and 4 year olds. It will run as a two-hour 50% indoors Program (10am-12pm). There will be up to (8) children, (2) staff and (1) parent volunteer in 15 classes adhering to a COVID19 health check (forehead temperature) and parent questionnaire (completed upon each class arrival). When weather is above 48F and sunny, time will be spent mostly outside in play and place-based education. Inside the Nature Center, children have the privilege of learning all about 25 unique animal species & performing fun science and language and arts exercises, and other STEAM activities in a well-ventilated classroom.
