Dog Days of Summer Travel Advisory

Through the efforts of the Village with assistance from New York State Assemblywoman Amy Paulin, the New York State Department of Transportation has added NYS Route 22/Post Road to its paving schedule for this August/September. Work commenced on August 6th and is expected to be completed in early September. Construction activity will occur at night to reduce traffic disruption. Additionally, ConEd is replacing a gas main on Scarsdale Avenue. This project will primarily be completed during the overnight hours and is expected to be finished in approximately four weeks.

Camps Care About Hunger

This Summer, Scarsdale Day Camps participated in the Westchester Recreation and Parks Society "Camps Care About Hunger" food drive. Through the efforts of all involved, over 434 lbs. of non-perishable food items were delivered to Feeding Westchester Food Bank in Elmsford. It is estimated that through the generosity of our campers, over 350 meals will be provided to those in need.
