Don't snooze . . . It's Almost Time

Phil, that furry rodent from Pennsylvania, predicted an early spring this year. Yeah, it's kinda hard to envision it with snow still on the ground, but he was right: Spring/Summer Program Registration starts Friday, March 01, 2019! So, don't delay registering for pool and tennis permits, camps (day, soccer, sport, travel), and other program opportunities offered by the Recreation Department. Brochures should be hitting mailboxes around February 25 and an electronic copy of the brochure will be available online one we've finished the final touches.

Death by a Thousand Cuts

Did you know that improper tree pruning can create lasting damage or even shorten a tree's life? Both technique and timing are important. Don't let just anyone hack at your trees, shrubs, and bushes -- hire a professional! Finding a local, ISA-certified Arborist is easy, and we're presently amidst the best time of year for pruning to be done. Always secure more than one bid, check references, and be leery of door-to-door solicitations. At Scarsdale Official, we appreciate all that you do to maintain our Village in a Park identity.
