Volunteering is Rad: Can you Dig It?

It's once again time to volunteer for the popular 5th Annual Community Planting Day and Wetland Restoration! Whether you have a green thumb or experience difficulty keeping your artificial plants healthy looking, join friends, family, and neighbors to help plant over 100 native trees and shrubs along the Fox Meadow Brook at the Brewster Road-Harwood Wetland on Saturday, April 27, from 10AM to 4PM. Bring your lunch and a beverage and meet at the north end of the Scarsdale High School gravel parking lot along Brewster Road. It's free!

The Village of Scarsdale will hold its annual Arbor Day observance on April 26 at 1 P.M. (rain or shine) in Harcourt Woods. Meet at the wood chip path at the south end of the High School parking lots along Brewster Road. Sea of Green: Cut the Yawwwwn

Turf grass is boring. Really, it is -- it's fall asleep uninteresting. It's even worse than watching paint dry. Transform that monotonous blanket of green! Here's just the ticket: The Native Plant Center at Westchester Community College is holding their 20th Annual Native Plant Sale on Saturday, 4/27, from 10AM to 1PM.
